So, today is the day! I've been working my pink and green behind off to get my website ready for a "soft launch" and today is the day! I'm so excited that I will now be able to accept wholesale orders for many of my products, and will be adding to that weekly. I am overflowing with ideas and there are so many things I want to do and products I want to make, but I'm going to take it slowly as I'm still trying to figure this all out as I go.

Just in Time for Fathers Day

Things have been uber crazy here at chez Monogram (more to come on that later). And since today is the mini's first day at summer camp and my first day to have the house to myself to, oh I don't know, perhaps get some laundry done and clean a few toilets around here, I am only allotting myself to sit at the computer for 5 more minutes.

Therefore, my friends, just in time for Fathers day and those family beach trips, all my new designs are ready and available at my SWAG shop on Etsy. Fifty eight (yes, that's right FIFTY EIGHT) designs in all now, and I am in love with the new stuff. Honestly. Mr. Monogram will be getting a new SWAG shirt himself for Fathers Day and the mini's will be sporting the "nautical flag line" design themselves (which I think will look super cute with their embroidered nautical motif shorts). Back in March, I started working on some new designs to add to my SWAG shop on Etsy, and I finally sat down and finished a bunch of them this weekend. I won't show them all to you, but here's a little sneak peak of a few designs I'll be adding this week. There are many more and they are all so cute I can hardly stand it!

I've been meaning to post these for a few days as I finally put up some new designs on my SWAG shop on Etsy. So stinkin' cute if I do say so! After the holiday's I will be neutralizing some of the designs and changing the colors so they can be worn all winter and not just Christmas. Let me know if you want colors changed and we can get that done right away for you.

Swag Holiday Cards

New from swag....custom Holiday photo cards! Any of these can be done in different color schemes made either horizontal or vertical, or customized with your own Holiday greeting. SUPERB quality printing on a heavy duty card stock and sold in sets of 24 (envelopes included), all you have to do is provide me with a high resolution digital image.

New Name, New Products

Again, thank you to everyone who left such great suggestions and took the time to vote. It looks like the new name will be S.W.A.G: Southern Wares and Goods! I'm not entirely sure when I will switch the name over yet, but it will be relatively soon (I'll keep you posted!). This was SO, SO close, this name literally beat out Monogram Manor by one little vote! Naturally, having my head in the clouds as I've had lately, instead of hitting the "publish all" button I hit "delete" for the comments. Grrrr! But I'm including my actual written (and messy) tally I took while counting the votes to assure you this was all counted up fairly.

Rock the Vote

I'm still here and I have a little weekend challenge for all of you. I am anticipating putting The Monogram Marketplace on a *real* e-commerce site soon (lots of new products being added to etsy hopefully this weekend), but that means I'll have to change the name of my shop due to the fact that there is already a Monogram Marketplace e-commerce site online. I'm not saying this is going to happen immediately, but in anticipation, I think I should go ahead and change the name of my shop.

Here's the challenge: Leave comments with what you think the new shop name should be. You can leave as many name suggestions as you want, and I will pick my top three favorites. The top three will then be presented right here at Monogram Momma's for you to rock the vote and decide on your favorite name. To help you out, I'm looking for something fun and cute, but not cutesy. It doesn't even have to have the word "monogram" in it, just something great and catchy that people will remember but that embodies the designs and feeling at said store. Also remember that new products are being added so the shop will be selling other items in addition to the tee's. I haven't uploaded any of my new stuff my etsy shop yet, however I wanted to give you guys a sneak peak at some new things I've been working on this week. Be on the look out for new product additions such as aprons, stoneware dog bowls, mugs, and *hopefully* custom vinyl car decals withall your favorite Monogram Marketplace designs so stay tuned! I'm planning on having everything up this weekend but I'll let you know next week.

UPDATE to the UPDATE: Tees are now on etsy so hurry if you want one so it will get to you in time!!!

So I was working on some last minute 4th of July tees for The Monogram Marketplace last night and this is what I came up with. Each design will be featured front and centered on the tee and will retail for $21 each. There is something about the sailboat that is bugging me though and I can't put my finger on it. Is it the red outline of the sail? Hmmm..

Anyway, I plan on putting them up on etsy today, but I want to know what everyone thinks, first. Yeah or Nay???

And check out the revised sailboat (below) which I think looks a lot better (what do you think?)and also the new flag monogram! I think the Flag monogram is my new favorite of the 4th collection!! Keep the input coming and I'll make the changes accordingly tonight and have the 4th tee's up on Etsy tomorrow! Thanks for the help!

Marketplace Happenings

As many of you know, I opened up the Monogram Marketplace a few months ago and it's been lots of fun for me to offer custom monogrammed tee's at affordable prices. I sincerely hope you have all been happy with your designs and purchases, as we here at Chez Monogram represent in our preppy tee's while out and about as well.

But a few changes are about to happen with the Marketplace. First and foremost, I am looking into a *real* e-commerce site which will make this ordering process much easier. Second, if you haven't been over there in a while, I recently added many new designs and options that you should head on over to check out. I added some super cute Halloween designs that I've already purchased for the mini monograms and I must say, look adorable! Check out the crossbones monogram design.. cute? I love it! On a similar note, I have been approached about wholesaling my single initial tee designs but unfortunately, that will require me to significantly raise my prices in order to do that. I'll keep you posted.

In the meantime, head on over to The Monogram Marketplace and see all the new additions. And for all you ladies in waiting, I also added a maternity tee. Yippie!

Three Cheers for the Three Chickadees

Slowly but surely, Monogram Momma will be returning to the world of blogging. Thank you so much for your patience and continued emails and support! I must admit, I've really enjoyed my little hiatus. Perhaps a little too much? However, there are important things I really feel the need to come back and discuss ( such as why on earth people can't put clothes on cover themselves up to get on an airplane these days. Geez! These girls could use some lessons in proper attire. What do they think this is, Hooters Airlines?).

The Monogram Markeplace by Monogram Momma

All I have to say is it’s a really good thing we cancelled the Derby Party on Saturday because the rain that was supposed to arrive on Wed, Thurs, and Fri, never made it’s way here until the weee hours on Saturday morning and WOW- did it arrive with a vengeance! Torrential thunderstorms all day long, so in hindsight, I am so glad we cancelled because I would have just been devastated by the rain ruining all my plans.

Anyhow, there’s no sense crying over spilled milk (or derby day thunderstorms) so I’m already thinking ahead and ready to move along. Are you guys ready? Because I’ve got a little announcement to make that I hope gets you excited.

You may notice that off to the right, on my little sidebar over there, is a new link for The Monogram Marketplace. Yep, you guessed it! It’s my very own little marketplace blog of preppy monogrammed tee’s. Yippie! In my quest to find cute but classic run-around graphic tee’s for the mini’s, I came up with an idea for monogrammed preppy tee’s. I love the idea of the traditional preppy graphics like the whale, the lobster, the anchor, etc., but I really wanted to personalize my graphics to make them just a tad bit cuter. So I came up with a few designs, played around with it a lot, and the end result is over at the Monogram Marketplace. After ordering a few I was so pleased with my final result that I thought a few of you might be interested as well. Then again, maybe not but I should at least be polite enough to offer, right?
