Buying By Paige

Go ahead and tell me how much you LOVE these needlepoint ballet flats?!?!?
Tell me! I'm listening!!

I am COMPLETELY in love with these from By Paige and I know a few of you ballet flat-aholics (coughAlyssa) will be all over these like white on rice! I have mentioned the cousins of the ballet flats, the adorable needlepoint mules and loafers before (which they also carry an amazing assortment of), but I am really thinking I need to have these adorable ballet flats. Only problem is what to chose? Chocolate lab? Preppy coastal crabs? One of each (no, that just would not do as my needlepoint ballet flats and myself would probably be put on the crub by Mr. Monogram). Hmmm....What do you think?

Oh, Monogram Momma, are you a bad influence!

I know it, Meg. I will take full responsibility for this one too. But you see, this is a great example of another reason why I have to remain anonymous.. So none of your husbands can come to hunt me down!

Oh no- another cute site for ballet flats, damn!! However, a bright spot for me: I have a bday approaching in April - however, my list is getting pretty lengthy, but hell, I am worth it :)

Oh, I feel that I *need* a pair of these!!

Alyssa, that is a good point!

Kris, you are definitely worth it so go on and add these cute little shoes to your list! I've already been told that I'm "asking a bit much" for my birthday. who cares?!?!?

And yes, Erin. You probably *need* them as much as I do, which is why I'm heading up to clear a spot for them now!

OMG - I am in love. MM are you trying to make me go broke?!! Do I need another pair of shoes?!!

Monogram Momma said...

Yes, Chloe, you probably do about as badly as I do, but that's not stopping me!

Literally drooling over here... yikes!

I knew you would love these, Lisagh! I actually emailed them to see if they sold the ballet flat needlepoint kits but they are selling the completed project only. Don't you love these?

I love the site. Thank you. I bought a pair of mules from Cottage at Spotswood. Hubby saw them and he thinks they are great. He stated that I shouldn't wear them around his mother because she would want them. Now this is coming from the man who thinks I have way TOO many shoes as it is.
I am contemplating a pair or two of these. Flats, loafers.?

I'm definitely going with the ballet flat. HOpefully they will do a chocolate lab loafer in the future, but right now I'm torn between the lime and white check needlepoint ballet flat and the Aqua and Lime needlepoint.

TOO CUTE! Thanks for posting. Deciding on what to choose, now that will be a problem!?! A fun problem but nonetheless, a problem!

This is a great find... I love the monogrammed style. Ugh! I can't buy another pair of ballet flats (can I?) What are your thoughts on wearing these spring summer? They seem more like fall -- and yes, I am trying to buy myself some time on getting these because I "need" them too.

Kerry, I used to think the same thing. I was afraid it would look too "Mischa Barton" if you know what I mean, but I changed my mind a few weeks ago. I definitely think they need to be summery (if you have a Khol's, they have TONS of cute inespensive summery ballet flats, btw)and I personally wouldn't pull out a khaki or dark brown pair for the summer. But yes, lighter colored ballet flats with a cute sundress or a-line skirt is what I'm all about this summer! Okay, so I'm also going a little crazy with the espadrilles too, but that's another post for another day. ;-)

P.S. Also, I prefer the longer bermuda style shorts and lots cotton dresses and skirts for just running around in the summer and cropped casual pants when we go out in the evening so I think they'll be very versatile for my summer wardrobe.

Rumor is it's your birthday? Happy B-Day and Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Sigh...these lovely shoes don't fit my rather, uh, generous feet. My size, which is rather unmaiden-like, isn't well represented in the cute-shoes department. Oh, well - I'll just have to chalk it up to money saved!
