Dear Friends,
I only have a few minutes but wanted to tell you how sorry I am for letting you all down with my absence and not sharing my crafty posts this week. I have so many fabulous things to share with you, but I haven't been online much this week. Also, if you've emailed me and I haven't gotten back to you, I will do so this weekend.
Preppy puppy has become very ill this week and I've spent a good chunk of time either caring for her or taking her to and fro the vet. We're hoping for some answers today from pathology but suffice to say, I have literally been worried sick all week. I have never been this scared about her health, so blogging has been the furthest thing from my mind. She is truly like one of my children.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that whatever is going on can be treated. As you know, she just celebrated her 12th birthday and up until this week, has been a pillar of strength and health.
Thank you for your understanding & I'll see you soon!

So sorry preppy puppy is not feeling well. Take good care.
Oh, I am so sorry for what you are going through and I hope everything goes well for Preppy Puppy. You will be in my thoughts.
Oh dear, poor preppy puppy. I'll be thinking of you and her both, I hope the vet can give you some more info soon. Please give her a scratch between the ears and an extra dog biscuit from me.
On the heels of getting our first puppy, I can't imagine what you are going through. Rocky and I will keep Preppy Puppy in our thoughts this weekend!
Best thoughts, hugs and kisses from Boston, Paris and me!
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am an animal lover and know how scary it can be when you love your pet so much.
Keep us posted.
We will be thinking of your pup!
I will say a prayer for precious preppy puppy. My granddog is here now and I am madly in love with her. There's something so special about the bond between human and dog, isn't there? Let us know about your puppy. I will keep a good thought that all will be well.
Thanks SO MUCH, you guys. It's so nice of all of you to leave such kind messages and keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately they did not have our results ready today from the vet school they were sent to, but we were told tomorrow. I spoke w/ her Dr today and he told me it did not look like it was going to be the "best possible scenario" we were hoping for so I'm dreading the news tomorrow. She seems to be getting a little energy back this evening and ate up her dinner which was a great sign (I think, anyway!) but her breathing is still really labored. We can't start treating her though until we know what is causing the problems. Thanks again, everyone and I'll fill you in when I know more. Please continue to pray for my preppy puppy. My heart is just breaking looking at her. XOXO
Scratch her lovely head for all of us who are sending her good wishes.
Awww, I truly know how it feels to have a dog be like your child. I'm thinking about preppy puppy and YOU!
Just popping in again to say thank you for the continuing thoughts and messages. Thank you so much. My girl is very sick and we've made 2 trips to the ER today alone. Still no solid answers and it's so frustrating b/c she continues to decline. Please think positive thoughts and prayers. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you all.
The pugs and I will be saying lots of prayers for you and the preppy puppy.
I am so sorry to hear about your dog! We have a chocolate lab as well and we adore her. I will be praying for your family as well as your puppy.
I'll keep you in my prayers. I named my son after the dog that I lost, so I know hpw it feels to love an animal wholeheartedly.
You're in my thoughts.
Sarah
