Blog Spotlight: Ashley's Closet

Don't get too excited. I'm still hobbling around here, most definitely not motivated to blog yet. But in the mean time, if you are looking for some entertainment, you really have to check out Ashley's Closet. Well, I don't mean literally find a chick named Ashley and walk in her closet, but you know, check out the blog Ashley's Closet. Ashley and I frequent the same Baby Message Board so she found me via a post I made on that one day. After she started her own blog and started leaving LOL comments on my blog, I followed her trail of bread crumbs back to her closet. And the rest is history.

Holy freaking cow!! The Woman I Want to Be, Monogram Momma, has put me in her spotlight!! I am tickled pink and green! This is a dream come true...I want to thank Monogram Momma for inspiring me every day to be a better woman (although I don't do much about it), my damn kids for providing great comedy material, and of course my mother, who made me the bitter, cynical mess I am today. Smooches! See you all in my closet (ignore the mess)

I stumbled upon her blog the other day and it really is great.

What a warm-hearted, lovely acceptance speech, Ashley! Unfortunately there is no real award to go along with the spotlight and I can't promise you my rude commenter who likes to frequent my own blog won't find her way to you as well, but I think you know my intentions are good. ;-)

Now i guess I need to get out of my swimsuit and get the mini's ready for naptime. I am ready for a long snooze myself (even though technically I was supposed to be *Cleaning* today).

off to check her out....

btw, I ordered birthday cookies for my little boy from the place you recommended. They were wonderful!! I even sent two to hubby in Baghdad and one made it intact.

I'm actually kind of ticked that I don't have a rude commenter. I think I provide plenty to be rude about and I see that several of you other bloggers have one. Btw, being in your spotlight is award enough!

Um, swimsuit? I was picturing you in a great amount of pain, barely mobile. Definitely not able to get in and out of a swimsuit.

Oh, just wait, Ashley. You'll get the rude commenter. It's like realizing your not a virgin anymore, but I feel confident you can take on the rude people of the world. I'll be ready with my popcorn when that day comes.

LOL about the swimsuit! I have to keep them entertained somehow without actually doing it myself! So we went to the pool and I threw them in the babypool while I sat my rear end in a chair in the shade. I can't get in the water anyway, so the bathing suit was just a precaution in case no one else was at the pool and I have to you, know, jump in a save one of the mini's from drowining or something. Don't worry though, leg is still elevated and feeling crappy!

Thanks for the share, as always you are wonderful! I wish I was there to lend you a hand, or a leg with the boys, I would be more than willing to do so, but please take care of yourself and recoup like you should be!

LOVE Ashley's blog, thanks for turning me on to her!

Have to thank you for the nod to go to Ashley's Closet. I laughed SO hard! I came by your blog when I started mine a little bit ago, and I'm a monogram FREAK! I guess that is the South for ya! Monograms, Lilly, and big hairbows (for the little ones, of course!)

Oh MM, you are truly my soulmate. When I finally craft my list of 100 things-you will see why. Unfortunately, such crafting of a list while require me to either a)lock the lawyer and caveman outside with the waterhose while the politician naps or b)drop them all off at daddy's office during the work day. I plan on taking either route today as Mr. Queenmother has informed me that the caveman isn't likely to need to full days of preschool next year-two half days should do.

Hi MM,
I've just discovered your blog and have spent the last two days back reading for the last couple of years. I can't tell you how many similarities there are between us. Of Italian decent (but living in Australia), I'm a stationery, monogram, preppy, Martha obsessed clone of you! I'm going to add your blog to my links on my blog if that's OK!
