Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Years! Welcome to 2007! Horray! Horray!

I’m sure many of you had fabulous dinner and party plans last night and I trust you had a great time and all made it home safe and sound. However, given then I was in a Nyquil induced coma last night by 10pm, I wasn’t kissing anyone in the New Year other than my pillow. It also seems my new years gift to Mr. Monogram was passing my cold onto him so I’m not exactly his favorite person right now. Fingers crossed we can keep this nastiness away from the mini monograms because I will NOT be a happy person if they get sick as well (that might actually warrant a 911 call to my mom for help!).

Okay, so I can not lie. I typically do not make resolutions because I rarely, if ever, keep them. Those extra pounds I so dutifully resolved to lose that January after I delivered mini #2 when he was a mere 10 weeks old? Yeah, well they’re still there where I left them 3 YEARS ago and it’s not looking like they’re going to budge. So I’m resolving not to resolve anymore.

But what about you? I know I’m in the minority here, NOT making any resolutions this year. But what are your resolutions?
And much more importantly, what preppy projects would you like to see monogram momma tackle in '07?

Happy New Year Mrs M!

I would like to see you come up with a preppy office organisation centre so I can get my desk and office area of ETP in order! HELP! Yeah, I know that's not exactly an easy project, but you are the most creative woman I know! What about some preppy in and out box or desk filing system - that would help me!!

Hope that you are feeling better. Being sick around the holidays not fun so despite that I hope that things are good and you are on the road to recovery.
I don't stick to resolutions as much as I try. I do have a gym membership and I go. I just don't go everyday (usually 1 or 2 x a week). I just try to be the best person that I can be for each day.

HI and Happy New Year!

I very recently found you and LOVE you! My DH is so tired of hearing about all the adorable stuff I am finding!

My resolution is to monogram everything I own that is not already monogrammed - which, granted is not much but there are some things yet to do!

So... the project I would like to know about is how to design a monogram on my computer. In Word I can get the font okay but the letters are lined up across the bottom, where I want to two side letters centered vertically on the sides.

Thanks for a great site!! I am so enjoying it!

Happy New Year! Thank you for the nice comment you left on my blog--I so appreciate comments.

I'm not making any resolutions, just positive affirmations and a list of things I aim to do. I'm really going to try to make some positive changes this year.

Happy New Year,MM! I was sick with a bad cold as well (for the first time in years) and totally dosed myself up on antihistamines before heading out (which meant toasting with Diet Coke). Hope you are feeling much better!!

Happy New Year to you, the Mr. and the Mini Monograms!

While not necessarily a preppy project, I'd love some ideas for homemade Valentine cards, especially projects that I can do with my kids. I'd love for them to send some nice homemade cards to their classmates this year rather than the cheesy store bought ones with licensed character images.
