Lauren Goessling Designs

Sometimes I stumble upon blogs and then I have no idea how I got there, I suppose from clicking from one blogroll to another and so on and so on, but like a child who has discovered the last remaining bouncy ball in the quarter machine, I’m so excited to have found it and my eyes get twinkly and even a tad glossed over. And that’s exactly how I felt when I stumbled upon designer and fellow southerner Lauren Goessling’s blog several weeks ago. Already a fan of her stationary, it was such a treat to be able to drink in her creativity every day and it continues to be a daily blog stop for me to see what she’s up to. So without it needing to be verbalized, you can imagine my excitement when she sent me the sweetest email about my blog and that she is a reader of mine as well. Well I certainly never expected to have a stationary celebrity frequenting my blog!*blushing* Anyway, I absolutely adore her classic yet preppy designs and they are certainly right up monogram momma’s alley, and being able to chose my envelope color for my notecards is a special added bonus for me, as you know how I like things customized. And I know I’ve mentioned her stationary before in previous entries, but never really brought it out to the forefront to showcase for you all. So without further adieu, I give you, the fabulously talented Lauren Goessling.

So clearly, this was the reason for my Friday afternoon stationary delight as I previously mentioned that I have been excited to share with you. But what I wanted to also share with you about Lauren, is that she extends her gracious southern charm not only through her classic yet simple stationary designs, but although through the packaging. Everything from the design of the stationary to the thoughtful and careful way it’s packaged and shipped to each recipient is well thought out, and shows great attention to details. And you know that paying attention to detail is a must in monogram momma’s little monogrammed book! So well thought out and executed, it was SUCH a treat to receive my new stationary. And how cute is that brown and white polka-dot ribbon carefully hugging my new box of stationary? I swear it’s like a hug from Lauren straight to me! Many thanks, Lauren!

And while we’re on the subject of this must-have stationary, I insist you all rush over to her site and look at all the wonderful stationary designs she has to offer for everyone in the family! She has graciously set up a 20% discount for monogram momma readers, so just enter “monogram20” at checkout to receive your generous discount (good through September 8th). Now, the only thing I can think of that's better than receiving new stationary is knowing you got a great deal on it!
